How it all began
DBTEZ started in early 2019 with one mission: to make data manageable.
Initially, we were purely a data engineering and performance consulting company—tuning complex systems, delivering reporting, and making sure our clients could truly benefit from their data.
But soon we saw a deeper challenge: Teams couldn't fully leverage data because of security concerns. Speed and innovation were constantly in tension with compliance and control.
Instead of accepting that compromise, we chose to solve it. That decision led us to create our flagship platform, KEZEL.

"When I started DBTEZ in early 2019, it was with one mission: To make data manageable. We began as a data engineering and performance consulting company—helping clients optimize systems, deliver reporting, and get real value from their data. We built fast pipelines. Tuned heavy workloads. Delivered premium business intelligence for our early customers. But along the way, I kept hearing the same thing:
"We can't afford to share this data."
"Our teams want insights—but we can't risk exposure."
"We want to move faster—but we have to stay locked down."
That stuck with me. Because I've spent over two decades inside large enterprises, building systems where performance, security, and trust collide. So I made a decision: DBTEZ wouldn't just help manage data. We'd protect it—and unlock its power at the same time. That's what led to KEZEL—our flagship platform. It lets you explore data, plan, forecast, and automate—without ever copying or exposing sensitive information. No more tradeoffs between insight and control. Today, we continue to grow—but that mission hasn't changed:
